Tashkent metro will receive 56 new cars in 2024
Tashkent Metro announced its plans for 2024. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the announcement, 56 new cars are planned to be purchased for the metro next year. This update is expected to improve train operations and reduce intervals between trips.

In the last three years, 41 train sets have been acquired in the country. Such updates serve to enhance the efficiency of metro services.

Currently, Tashkent Metro serves about 1 million passengers daily. For comparison, this figure was around 300 thousand in 2021.

By 2024, this number is expected to reach 930 thousand. At the same time, the residents of Tashkent were urged to strictly follow metro rules.

Passengers are requested not to gather near the doors, to give way to those exiting the train, to leave the cars quickly, and not to forget personal belongings. According to experts, such measures help maintain the train schedule and increase convenience for passengers.
