A new opportunity has been created for students living in rented accommodation while studying. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Now, students are offered the possibility of having a portion of their rent compensated by the state. This decision was made to reduce the financial burden on young people and ease rental expenses.
Most importantly, it is not necessary to visit the university or bank to carry out this process. All procedures are done online, conveniently and quickly.
Students only need to log in to the unified interactive state services portal my.gov.uz and submit an application through the service “Partial reimbursement of monthly rent payments for students of state higher education institutions.” There is no need to provide additional documents, as the system automatically verifies all necessary information.
Once the application is reviewed and approved, funds equivalent to one basic calculation amount (BHM) will be allocated for students living in Tashkent city, and half of the BHM for students living in the regions. Applications are accepted between the 1st and 7th of each month, and the approved funds are transferred directly to the students' bank accounts.
This project is an important initiative aimed at improving the living conditions of young people, supporting them, and ensuring social justice. Source: One.uz.
