Passenger flow in the metro increased by 7.5 percent

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, a total of 205.7 million passengers used metro services from January to September 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This figure increased by 14.4 million compared to the same period last year, representing a 7.5 percent growth. Calculations show that an average of 753.5 thousand passengers were transported daily via the metro during the first nine months of this year.

Experts believe that the increase in passenger flow is related to the expansion of metro networks and the opening of new stations. Additionally, the convenience of metro services, modern conditions, and the rapid transport system encourage more people to use it.
