
On the afternoon of November 14, an earthquake occurred in the territory of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The seismic waves of this earthquake were also felt in the eastern regions of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Seismoprognostic Center.
It is reported that the tremor was recorded approximately 328 kilometers southeast of Tashkent, near the city of Osh in Kyrgyzstan. The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.7 and an intensity of 4 on the epicenter scale, with the tremors occurring at a depth of 10 kilometers.
As a result of the earthquake, noticeable shaking was also observed in some regions of Uzbekistan. Specifically, tremors of 2–3 points were recorded in the cities of Qorgontepa and Khonobod, around 2 points in Khojaobod, and about 2 points in Jalalquduq.
According to experts, such natural events occur relatively frequently in the Central Asian region. Therefore, it is important to urge the population to be prepared for earthquakes.
