
Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Tashkent on a state visit. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He was ceremoniously welcomed at the new international "Tashkent-Humo" airport. Tokayev became the first head of state to visit this modern airport.
At the airport, a brief conversation took place between Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the meeting, issues of further developing the strategic partnership and close alliance between the two countries were discussed.
This conversation was of significant importance in strengthening bilateral relations. Official events are also planned during the visit.
In particular, on November 15, high-level talks and the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council established between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are expected to be held. These meetings are anticipated to bring cooperation between the two countries to a new level and lay the groundwork for important agreements.
