
Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Tashkent on a state visit. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A ceremonial reception was held for him at the Tashkent-Humo International Airport. It is worth noting that since the opening of this modern airport, Tokayev became the first head of state to visit it.
At the airport, an initial meeting took place between the President of Kazakhstan and the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. During the conversation, issues of further developing strategic cooperation and alliance between the two countries were discussed.
The parties exchanged views on pressing matters related to strengthening mutually beneficial relations. According to the visit program, tomorrow, November 15, high-level negotiations will be held, and the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council is planned.
