
Significant trends were observed in price changes in the consumer market of Uzbekistan in October 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to data from the Central Bank, the prices of some goods and services increased significantly, while others decreased. In particular, the price of methane rose by 30.5 percent year-on-year.
This change became one of the most noticeable in the daily lives of the population. Additionally, the price of gasoline increased by 11.7 percent, wedding rings by 33.4 percent, newspapers and magazines by 15.3 percent, cigarettes by 9.6 percent, and natural flowers by 9.8 percent.
However, price decreases were observed in some products. For example, propane became 18 percent cheaper, air conditioners by 1.3 percent, televisions by 0.3 percent, and paper by 3.9 percent.
Among food products, the prices of some items rose sharply. For instance, boneless beef increased by 25.3 percent, cabbage by 24.7 percent, sunflower oil by 22.6 percent, and onions by 18.9 percent.
At the same time, some products became cheaper: peach prices fell by 28.7 percent, watermelon by 21.8 percent, two types of rice by 18 percent, cucumber and bananas decreased by 17.6 and 15.1 percent respectively. Changes were also noted in the service sector.
Money transfers became 4.8 percent cheaper, microfinance services by 0.2 percent. However, prices for state kindergartens rose by 21 percent, central heating by 20.9 percent, and electricity supply by 18.8 percent.
Additionally, prices for domestic flights increased by 52.3 percent, network gas by 39.2 percent, cold water by 35.1 percent, museum services by 32.3 percent, waste disposal by 28.6 percent, and liquefied gas by 25 percent. City bus fares also rose by 22.3 percent.
At the same time, the country's annual inflation rate decreased to 7.8 percent, down by 2.4 percentage points compared to last year. Experts associate these changes with seasonal factors, raw material prices, and conditions in the supply system (source: one.uz).
