List of regions with the lowest population in Uzbekistan announced
As of October 1, 2025, the permanent population of Uzbekistan was announced to be 38,069,116 people. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The National Statistics Committee provided official information on this matter. According to statistical data, there are regions in the country with relatively low population.
Below is the updated list of cities and districts with the lowest population: 1. G‘ozg‘on city – 9,429 people, 2.
Tomdi district – 15,199 people, 3. Shirin city – 19,421 people, 4.
Qorovulbozor district – 20,608 people, 5. Bo‘zatov district – 21,810 people, 6.
Yangiobod district – 30,449 people, 7. Mo‘ynoq district – 34,065 people, 8.
Konimex district – 36,922 people, 9. Taxtako‘pir district – 38,871 people, 10.
Uchquduq district – 39,937 people. This information is important for studying the demographic situation across the country, analyzing population density, and assessing the development level of regions.
