
On November 15, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting at the Koksaroy residence in Tashkent. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The meeting was organized within the framework of a state visit and continued with negotiations aimed at further developing strategic cooperation between the two countries. During the dialogue, issues of strengthening political and economic ties, increasing trade volume, and expanding joint projects in the fields of energy, transport, and industry were discussed.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue cooperation in mutually beneficial directions. The presidents specially emphasized that relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have significantly intensified in recent years.
In particular, it was noted that the volume of mutual trade has increased, joint industrial projects are expanding, and cooperation on regional security issues has strengthened. At the end of the negotiations, the two heads of state agreed to deepen strategic alliance relations and expand practical cooperation.
They emphasized that these relations play an important role in ensuring stability and prosperity in the Central Asian region.
