
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev participated in the launch ceremony of major cooperation projects within the framework of the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this event, the “Central Asia” international industrial cooperation center, which is the most important and strategically significant between the two countries, was opened. This project is expected to bring regional economic cooperation to a new level.
Additionally, the new headquarters of “Tenge Bank” started operating in Tashkent city. Furthermore, the launch of the “Silkway Central Asia” multi-sector logistics center and linear alkylbenzene production plants is planned.
While construction of the “Astana” quarter has begun in New Tashkent, the establishment of modern hotel complexes in Tashkent and Astana cities is also among the projects. The heads of state expressed confidence that these projects will further strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and give new momentum to bilateral relations.
