The number of craftsmen in Uzbekistan has exceeded 22 thousand
It has been reported that the number of craftsmen across Uzbekistan has exceeded 22 thousand. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The National Statistics Committee has published its data on this matter. According to the Committee's report, as of October 1, 2025, the number of active craftsmen in the country has reached 22,100.

Analysis by regions shows that the highest number of craftsmen is located in the city of Tashkent, with their number totaling 2,964. Following are Fergana region (2,743) and Samarkand region (2,179).

Additionally, there are 2,058 craftsmen in Andijan region, 2,024 in Namangan region, and 1,982 in Khorezm region. In Tashkent region, 1,731 craftsmen are registered, in Bukhara region 1,434, and in Kashkadarya region 1,427.

Regions with relatively fewer craftsmen have also been noted. Specifically, there are 981 craftsmen in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 923 in Jizzakh region, 786 in Surkhandarya region, 449 in Syrdarya region, and 419 in Navoi region.
