Tashkent summit: New opportunities for Central Asia
The seventh advisory meeting of the heads of Central Asian states held in Tashkent was recognized as one of the most important political events in the region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

At this event, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, participated and shared his views on pressing issues. President Tokayev first highly appreciated the initiatives put forward by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and emphasized his full support for them.

He noted that a unique historical opportunity has arisen for the countries of Central Asia in today's geopolitical context. According to Tokayev, the region can develop as a Eurasian transport and logistics hub.

He stressed the necessity of effectively utilizing this opportunity. During his speech, the Kazakh leader also acknowledged the UNESCO General Conference held in Samarkand and congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev for organizing it at a high level.

Tokayev assessed this event as politically and scientifically significant. He also highly valued the Islamic Civilization Center opened in Tashkent, recognizing it as an important platform for joint scientific research and cooperation in the region.

President Tokayev also supported the institutional proposals put forward by Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He emphasized that the regional countries can thoroughly discuss these proposals and approve them on a legislative basis.

At the end of his speech, the Kazakh leader expressed gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for successfully organizing the summit. Such meetings are of great importance in strengthening integration and strategic cooperation among Central Asian states.
