
The important summit of the Central Asian countries' leaders concluded in Tashkent city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This historic event was held under the chairmanship of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The heads of Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan participated.
During the summit, a decision was made to admit the Republic of Azerbaijan as a full member in this format. The leaders of the participating countries put forward important initiatives to further develop regional cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, multilateral documents were signed between the states. These documents play an important role in ensuring regional stability and development.
On November 15, within the framework of the summit, the President of Uzbekistan held separate meetings with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, and the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. On the same day, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev participated in the main events as part of his state visit.
After the official part of the summit ended, the President of Uzbekistan sincerely saw off the guest state leaders at the “Tashkent-Humo” international airport. The Presidents of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan departed for their countries.
Today, November 17, the main events of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to our country are planned to take place. This visit is considered another important step in strengthening regional relations.
