
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded Uzbekistan's highest honor — the “Order of High-Level Friendship.” This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The press service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced this. The award was presented at a solemn ceremony held on November 17 at the “Koksaroy” residence in Tashkent.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that this award recognizes the Turkmen leader's services in strengthening friendly and strategic relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. The award was regarded as a symbol that serves to further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Among Serdar Berdimuhamedov's contributions, initiatives such as the development of trade and economic relations and the launch of the large border zone “Shovot-Dashoguz” were especially acknowledged. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his gratitude for the high respect shown by the Uzbek leader and emphasized his aspiration to further develop cooperation between the two states.
