
Direct flights between Uzbekistan and Pakistan are planned to be established. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This news was disseminated by The Express Tribune publication. The issue was discussed during the eighth session dedicated to cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
According to Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Industrial and Production Affairs, direct flights will expand trade opportunities between the two countries. Additionally, this will enable Uzbekistan to become an important link between the Persian Gulf and European countries.
Haroon Akhtar Khan stated that the Pakistani government has instructed the relevant authorities and airlines to launch these flights as soon as possible and to ensure their sustainability. This initiative is expected to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
