
During the first nine months of 2025, a total of 404 kilometers of drinking water network was constructed across Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The State Statistics Committee provided this information. The majority of this figure, namely 297.9 kilometers, corresponds to rural areas.
By region, the largest volume of work was carried out in Jizzakh region, where 203.1 kilometers of drinking water pipelines were laid. In Fergana region, 81.5 kilometers, and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 64.3 kilometers of new pipelines were installed.
Additionally, 31.4 kilometers of drinking water networks were established in Bukhara region, and 17 kilometers in Kashkadarya region. These projects were implemented with the aim of improving the provision of drinking water to the population and enhancing living conditions in rural areas.
