National Committee Established for Urbanization

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree to establish a National Committee aimed at the sustainable development of urbanization and the housing market. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This new organization will be responsible for coordinating policies in the fields of urban planning and housing construction. The Committee will participate in implementing projects for the construction of new residential and non-residential building complexes in Tashkent, Nukus, and regional centers.
Additionally, it will manage the development and approval processes of documents related to the construction of multi-story buildings in the "New Uzbekistan" neighborhoods. The Committee employs 50 staff members and may involve local and foreign experts as needed.
The organization's financial support is provided from the state budget. The Committee is located at 1a Zulfiya Khanum Street, Tashkent city.
Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov will oversee the implementation of the decree.
