
The weather forecast for the winter season of 2025–2026 in Uzbekistan has been presented. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to "O‘zgidromet," December is expected to be slightly warmer than usual. The average temperature is said to be 1–1.5 degrees above the norm.
At the beginning of the month, nighttime temperatures are forecasted to be around 0…+5 degrees, and daytime temperatures around +10…+15 degrees. In the middle and at the end of the month, temperatures may drop from +2…+7 degrees at night to 0…–5 degrees, and from +12…+17 degrees during the day to +2…+7 degrees.
Precipitation levels are expected to be within the normal range. January will generally be close to the norm, although some areas may experience colder weather.
Night temperatures may fall from +3…+8 degrees to –3…–8 degrees, and daytime temperatures from +10…+15 degrees to –2…+3 degrees. There is a possibility of anomalous cold in some regions at the end of the month.
For example, temperatures around Nukus and Urgench may drop to –20…–25 degrees. In February, the weather is expected to be close to the long-term average.
Cold conditions are expected to continue at the beginning of the month, but temperatures will warm up later. Night temperatures may rise from –2…–7 degrees to +3…+8 degrees, and daytime temperatures may warm up to +10…+15 degrees.
In southern regions, temperatures may reach +15…+20 degrees. "O‘zgidromet" emphasized that this forecast was prepared to help economic sectors and the population prepare for the cold.
