
Although the volume of natural gas production in Uzbekistan has decreased, its export volume has increased. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the data from the National Statistics Committee, in the first ten months of 2025, gas exports reached 568.2 million dollars, marking a 5.1 percent increase compared to the previous year. Based on Chinese customs data, it was revealed that Uzbekistan exported raw materials worth a total of 695.58 million dollars from January to October.
At the same time, the volume of natural gas production in the country decreased by 5.3 percent year-on-year, amounting to 35.5 billion cubic meters. Gas condensate production also declined, dropping from 1 million tons to 930.9 thousand tons.
Additionally, the National Statistics Committee's report noted that by the beginning of November, gas imports had decreased to 1.1 billion dollars. Furthermore, Kazakhstan announced its readiness to increase the volume of gas transit from Russia to Uzbekistan.
By the end of the year, it is expected that 6 billion cubic meters of gas transit from Russia to Uzbekistan will be carried out. Source: zamin.uz
