
Industrial indicators for Uzbekistan for January–October 2025 have been announced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the data from the National Statistics Committee, during this period, enterprises in the country produced goods worth 865.8 trillion soums. This is 6.7 percent more compared to the same period last year.
However, a decline was observed in the energy sector. The volume of natural gas extraction amounted to 35.5 billion cubic meters.
This figure decreased by 3.5 billion cubic meters compared to 2023, and by 1.8 billion cubic meters compared to the 10-month statistics of the previous year. A reduction was also noted in automobile gasoline production.
In the first 10 months of the current year, 974.7 thousand tons of gasoline were produced. This figure is 131.5 thousand tons less than last year and 118.7 thousand tons less compared to the same period in 2024.
Oil extraction volume also decreased. This year, 547.3 thousand tons of oil were extracted, marking a decline of 54.7 thousand tons compared to last year.
At the same time, growth was observed in some sectors. For example, diesel fuel production increased, reaching 978.1 thousand tons.
This is 100 thousand tons more than last year's figure. Coal production also grew significantly, exceeding 6.5 million tons.
Electricity production volume also increased. During the reporting period, 69.2 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity were produced, which is 3.8 percent more than last year.
