The procedure for medical examination of donors and recipients and issuing medical conclusions for organ transplantation operations has been approved in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This document has been registered by the Ministry of Justice. According to the newly approved rules, during the organ transplantation process, both the donor and the recipient must undergo a full medical examination for three months.
This examination includes laboratory tests and immunological checks. This process is considered important for a comprehensive assessment of the health status of both the donor and the recipient.
Permission for organ transplantation is granted only by the council of state clinics. The medical board thoroughly studies whether the patient needs a transplant and the compatibility of the donor.
If it is determined that the operation will cause serious harm to the patient's health, for example, the loss of vision, hearing, or speech abilities, mental health disorders, or a significant decrease in work capacity, a medical conclusion will not be issued. These rules are aimed at ensuring that the organ transplantation process is carried out safely and legally.
