This information was provided by the press service of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. According to them, a system of restricting vehicle movement on odd and even days is planned to be implemented.
This measure is being considered to reduce traffic congestion in the city's transport system and to improve the environmental situation. Additionally, temporary restrictions are expected to be imposed on freight vehicles.
The new rules will apply only to vehicles with internal combustion engines; electric vehicles will not be subject to restrictions. A special commission will determine the list of areas and streets where the restrictions will be enforced.
