A new higher education institution in Uzbekistan – the Uzbek-French University – is planned to be established. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This university will be opened in accordance with the decision of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The new educational institution will operate based on the laws of Uzbekistan and the recommendations of the consortium of French universities.
The university will initially start teaching at the master's level. Later, bachelor's and doctoral programs will also be introduced.
Before student admission, special preparatory courses will be organized. The education process will be conducted either on a state grant basis or under a contract.
Graduates of the university will receive two diplomas. The first diploma will be from the newly established Uzbek-French University, and the second will be from a higher education institution that is part of the consortium of French universities.
The French diploma is officially recognized in Uzbekistan. This project will further strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and France in the field of education.
