Comprehensive raids are being conducted in this regard. The National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, inspections related to the Construction and Energy sectors, the Sanitary-Epidemiological Service, and other responsible agencies are working together.
During these raids, construction sites located in 12 districts of the capital were thoroughly inspected. More than 140 specialists and employees participated in this process.
Their main task was to identify and prevent situations that cause harm to air, soil, and water sources during the construction process. The inspection results revealed concerning conditions.
Out of a total of 96 construction sites, 60 were found to have failed to meet requirements to prevent the spread of dust and sand. Additionally, landscaping work was not carried out at the required level at 47 sites.
Appropriate measures were taken regarding the identified violations. Specifically, construction work was temporarily suspended at 15 sites, 70 responsible persons were held administratively liable, and 68 employees received official warnings.
At the same time, practical measures were implemented to enforce environmental requirements. In particular, special water washing devices were installed at 24 sites, and pools for washing vehicle tires were established at 62 sites.
Officials emphasize that such raids not only help prevent violations but also serve to increase environmental awareness in the construction sector, reduce factors harmful to the environment, and ensure compliance with sanitary requirements. In the current situation, where construction work is rapidly progressing in the capital, such control measures play an important role in protecting the environment.
