Based on the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, starting from January 1, 2026, the “Elimination of Bureaucracy – 2030” program aimed at fully digitizing government agencies and increasing their efficiency will be implemented. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This program aims to simplify public services, reduce excessive formalities, and minimize the risk of corruption. The goal is to establish a modern, transparent, and people-centered governance system.
The main directions of the program include creating convenience for the population and business entities. Simplifying the process of using public services, supporting business, and creating conditions for attracting foreign investments are important aspects of the program.
At the same time, through the digital governance system, it is planned to strengthen Uzbekistan’s positive image in the international arena and eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic procedures. A Special Project Center will be established under the Strategic Development and Reforms Agency to implement the program.
This center will develop a “roadmap” for the program in cooperation with international partners and regularly report to the President on the progress made. Additionally, a digital platform called Zero Bureaucracy will be launched to discuss proposals for reducing bureaucracy and to evaluate efficiency.
According to the decree, personal responsibility has been assigned to the heads of state organizations to ensure timely and effective implementation of the program. The agency must establish the project office within one month and develop the regulations for the National Award competition.
Overall supervision of the program’s implementation has been entrusted to the President’s advisor Sardor Umrzokov. Source: One.uz
