
The Head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, announced at a working meeting with the heads of the country's law enforcement agencies that a new phase has begun in the fight against drug trafficking and related crimes. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the meeting, the existing threats were analyzed, and the necessity to strengthen rapid cooperation mechanisms to eliminate the problem was emphasized. In recent years, drug trafficking, the activities of criminal groups, and illegal arms trafficking have become one of the most serious concerns.
Saida Mirziyoyeva demanded from the responsible leaders to establish an effective and reliable system to achieve clear results in this area. The meeting set the task of creating a coordinated and fast-operating unified mechanism to combat drug-related crime within a short time.
Additionally, the importance of information exchange, coordination of operations, and strengthening preventive measures among law enforcement agencies was highlighted. According to Saida Mirziyoyeva, the state's policy against crime involves an uncompromising approach.
