An artificial blood circulation device (AIK) from Brazil, with a total value of 1.96 billion soums, was installed and put into operation at the Qashqadaryo branch of the Republican Emergency Medical Aid Center. This equipment is considered a significant step towards the development of high-tech medical services in the region.
This device enables cardiovascular surgeries to be performed at high standards, allows for the rapid resuscitation of critically ill patients, and improves the quality of medical care. Additionally, this equipment plays an important role in maintaining the patient's vital functions during specialized surgical procedures.
The purchase process of the AIK device was carried out within the framework of the 2nd season of the "Initiative Budget" project in 2024. Initially, 1 billion 360 million soums were allocated for this purpose, and with the assistance of the regional administration, an additional 600 million soums were directed from the free balances of the 2025 local budget, fully forming the necessary funds.
According to medical staff, the new device expands the possibilities for providing modern and effective treatments to patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases. This is expected to be an important factor in reducing mortality rates.
This development marks another step towards improving the quality of medical services in Qashqadaryo region and creating additional guarantees for the health of the population. The introduction of modern technologies is taking the medical field in the region to a new level.
