
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has signed a decree to implement the "Elimination of Bureaucracy – 2030" program. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This program is planned to be launched at the beginning of 2024. This information was provided by the Ministry of Justice.
Within the framework of the program, it is envisaged to facilitate citizens' access to public services, abolish excessive regulations, and increase transparency of processes. At the same time, special attention will be paid to simplifying procedures to prevent abuses.
The implementation of this project has been entrusted to a special project office established under the Strategic Development and Reforms Agency. Proposals to combat bureaucracy will be accepted and reviewed through the "Zero Bureaucracy" platform.
According to the head of state, digitization of documents saves the country 24 billion soums annually. It is planned to increase the number of public services to 1,500 within the next five years.
