The level of resistance to corruption among employees of government bodies in Uzbekistan is being checked. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This is established by a decree signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This initiative is aimed at preventing corruption in the civil service and increasing the integrity of employees.
Starting from 2024, heads and employees of anti-corruption departments, as well as candidates for these positions, will undergo special inspections. From June, this process will also cover employees in control inspections with medium and high corruption risk.
These measures are considered an important step in the fight against corruption. From 2027, employees working in agencies with a high risk of corruption will also be subject to inspections.
This process will be carried out by the Center for Evaluation of Management Bodies. If, based on the inspection results, an employee is found to have a low level of resistance to corruption, they will be transferred to another position.
These measures are being introduced to ensure transparency in public administration and strengthen trust. Source of information: zamin.uz.
