
The Hydrometeorology Service Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Uzhydromet) issued a warning about weather-related hazards for December 10–12. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
It is emphasized that during these days, due to heavy precipitation and sharp temperature changes, the risk of avalanches in mountainous areas will increase. In particular, the risk level is high in the Chotqol mountain ranges of Bostanliq, Ohangaron, and Parkent districts of Tashkent region, as well as in Pop district of Namangan region.
Residents of these areas, citizens planning to visit recreational spots, and drivers traveling in these directions are advised to take precautionary measures. According to experts, any negligence under the current weather conditions can lead to serious consequences.
