Repairs in Sirdarya: power outages in some areas
According to the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, the gas turbine rotor at the Sirdarya thermal power plant is being replaced with a new one. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Due to this large-scale technical work, part of the plant will be under repair for at least one month. As a result, the electricity generation capacity is somewhat affected.

Additionally, due to shorter days in the winter season, the output of solar power plants has decreased. This leads to an increase in the load on the electrical networks.

Therefore, the government and responsible organizations announce that short-term power outages may occur in some areas from 17:00 to 21:00 to maintain the balance between consumption and production. Authorities advise the public to use electricity sparingly, follow special announcements, and not to worry when outages occur.

These measures are aimed at ensuring the stability of the electricity supply. Source: One.uz
