
An international conference on the topic "The Role of Women in Modern Society" was held in the city of Avaza, Turkmenistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this event, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, participated on behalf of Uzbekistan. In her speech, she expressed important views and initiatives regarding the role of women in society, their rights, and the development of their potential.
Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that the idea of equal opportunities and the contribution of women to societal progress is not a modern phenomenon but has historical roots. According to her, supporting women, increasing their social activity, and protecting their rights are among the essential conditions for sustainable development.
Additionally, Mirziyoyeva spoke about the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan. In particular, she provided information about efforts to increase girls' participation in education, involve them in entrepreneurship and economic activities, and strengthen gender equality.
She specifically noted that respecting and supporting women's rights is the responsibility not only of the state but also of all layers of society. According to Mirziyoyeva, by fostering unity and solidarity in society, it is possible to create the necessary conditions for fully realizing the abilities of every woman.
She confidently emphasized that as a result of joint efforts, women's opportunities will expand, and mechanisms that fulfill their aspirations will be further strengthened. In conclusion, the international conference in Avaza served as an effective platform for exchanging experiences between countries and discussing important issues aimed at improving the status of women.
