A new center for combating corruption is planned to be established in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
It was announced during a presentation to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on issues related to combating corruption, digitalization, and the development of compliance control. This center will work on risk analysis to detect corruption in advance.
Additionally, a proposal was made to establish an anti-corruption cluster uniting state and public organizations. Within this system, full digitalization of compliance control departments and the use of artificial intelligence technologies will enable automatic detection of corruption risks.
During the presentation, special attention was emphasized on preventing corruption. For this purpose, special project offices will be established to eliminate the causes of offenses.
Engaging citizens in monitoring investments and construction processes is also planned. In addition, a system to incentivize individuals reporting corruption cases will be developed.
They will be awarded with a breast badge and a special protection order. These initiatives aim to strengthen the anti-corruption system and increase transparency in society.
