Avalanche risk announced in the mountains
The O‘zgidromet service has warned that weather conditions may change sharply from December 13 to 16. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In particular, due to increased precipitation and a drop in temperature during these days, there is a risk of avalanches in the mountainous regions of the republic. This risk may be more pronounced in the Chotqol mountain range in the Bo‘stonliq, Ohangaron, and Parkent districts of Tashkent region, as well as in the Pop district of Namangan region.
Therefore, residents living in mountainous areas, tourists visiting these regions, and drivers are advised to be cautious and take safety measures. Experts urge citizens to increase vigilance when moving in these areas.
Especially, it is necessary to avoid places with a high risk of avalanches and to drive vehicles carefully on mountain roads. This will help prevent unfortunate incidents.
