
The official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, has successfully concluded. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the visit, the head of our state participated in a number of important events. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in and delivered a speech at the international forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, International Neutrality Day, and the year 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust."
During this event, efforts to strengthen international cooperation and achieve peace were discussed. Additionally, our state leader held meetings with Turkmenistan's national leader, Chairman of the People's Council Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
During the negotiations, issues related to further developing friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries were discussed. Delegation members also visited the renovated Neutrality Complex in Ashgabat.
At the end of the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was seen off at Ashgabat International Airport by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Khojamyrat Geldimyradov and other officials. The President returned to the city of Tashkent.
