Ozgidromet has issued a warning about the risk of avalanches in the mountainous areas of Tashkent and Namangan regions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

It is reported that due to the expected precipitation and sharp changes in air temperature from December 13 to 16, dangerous situations may arise in these areas. Specifically, there is a possibility of avalanches in the Chotqol range in the Bostanliq, Ohangaron, and Parkent districts of Tashkent region, as well as in the Pop district of Namangan region.

Authorities recommend that residents living in mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers traveling on these routes take special precautionary measures. Considering the avalanche risk, it is advisable to postpone important trips temporarily or avoid such areas unless necessary.
