
Ozgidromet announced that from December 13 to 16, there is a risk of avalanches in the mountainous areas of the republic due to precipitation and sharp changes in air temperature. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This dangerous situation particularly concerns the Bostanliq, Ohangaron, and Parkent districts of Tashkent region (Chotqol mountain range) as well as the Pop district of Namangan region. Ozgidromet recommended that residents living in mountainous areas, visitors to recreational spots, and drivers traveling on mountain roads take precautionary measures.
Due to the risk of avalanches in such locations, road traffic accidents and other unfortunate incidents may occur. According to experts' warnings, citizens should avoid traveling to mountainous areas unless absolutely necessary and strictly follow safety rules.
