Some streets will be closed in Tashkent due to the New Year
In Tashkent city, to prepare for the New Year holiday and to hold it at a high level, traffic on certain streets will be temporarily restricted. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to information provided by the Tashkent city administration, from December 15, 2025, to January 15, 2026, changes will be introduced to traffic in front of the Uzbekistan National Library, at the intersection of Zarafshan and Istiqlol streets, as well as on Buyuk Turon street. Additionally, from December 17, 2025, to January 5, 2026, restrictions on vehicle movement are planned on Taras Shevchenko street.

For this reason, drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and organize their movement conveniently. It was noted that special attention will be paid to ensuring safety and maintaining public order during the holiday events.
