Roads will be closed for New Year events in Sergeli

Mass events dedicated to the New Year holiday are planned to be held in the Sergeli district of Tashkent city starting from December 25. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

These events will be organized on a special street operating day and night in the field of gastronomic tourism. This was announced by the press service of the Sergeli district administration.

According to official information, the section of Sug‘diyona street from the intersection with Yangi Sergeli street to the intersection of Jaloyir and Bag‘rikeng streets, as well as the section of Jaloyir street from Sug‘diyona street to Obihayot street, will be temporarily closed. These restrictions will be in effect until January 10, 2026.

Local authorities and responsible organizations emphasize that these measures are being taken to conduct the holiday events safely and orderly, and to create convenience for residents and guests. Therefore, drivers are requested to use alternative routes to coordinate traffic.

Road users are required to be patient and comply with the established rules. Safety and order during the holiday events will be monitored by responsible services.
