
During comprehensive rapid-preventive operations conducted in Uzbekistan, strict measures were taken against numerous violations of the law. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from November 20 to December 20, preventive detention was applied to 379 individuals. During this period, law enforcement agencies conducted over 16,000 rapid-search operations across all regions of the country.
As a result, 2,256 crimes were solved and 1,534 criminal cases were initiated. In particular, activities aimed at combating drug trafficking were of special importance.
In this process, 2,375 cases related to narcotic substances were identified. More than 500 kilograms of narcotics and over 166,000 psychotropic drugs were seized from criminal groups.
Additionally, over 500 illegally cultivated narcotic plants were destroyed. The internal affairs bodies emphasize that such operations play a crucial role in ensuring public safety and combating crime.
