Filtreless coal boilers operation will be stopped in Tashkent

Coal boilers operating without filters in Uzbekistan will be shut down and relocated outside the city of Tashkent. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his address to the Oliy Majlis. This measure is being implemented to protect the environment and reduce ecological problems.
The President emphasized that currently about 2,000 greenhouses in Tashkent city and Tashkent region are heated using coal and gas. To modernize this system, it is planned to establish agro-clusters covering at least 200 hectares.
Greenhouses included in the agro-clusters will have the opportunity to receive subsidies from the state. This will encourage greenhouse farms to improve energy efficiency.
Additionally, the President placed special emphasis on ecological sustainability and stressed support for the development of green energy. A credit line of 100 million dollars is planned to be allocated for large industrial enterprises to monitor emissions into the atmosphere, install filters, and build purification facilities.
These measures are aimed at improving the ecological situation and ensuring the rational use of resources. Source: zamin.uz
