
On the evening of December 26, an earthquake that occurred in Kyrgyzstan was also felt in regions of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The information was provided by the Republican Seismoprosthetic Monitoring Center. According to the center, the earthquake took place at 21:17 in the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan.
The epicenter was located 277 kilometers southeast of Tashkent, and the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.2. The tremor was observed at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Within Uzbekistan, the earthquake was felt at a weak level. In particular, ground shaking was recorded at about 2 points in the Fergana district.
According to specialists, no damage was caused by the earthquake, and there are no reports of casualties or destruction. Currently, the situation is fully monitored by experts.
