Additional time granted for investors in MobiUz privatization

Additional time has been granted to three investors to improve their proposals in the privatization process of MobiUz (Universal Mobile Systems). This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Within the framework of the privatization process, it is planned to transfer 100 percent of the state-owned shares in the company to the private sector. The current stage is the final phase of international bidding.

Initially, 10 foreign investors showed interest in this process, of which 7 advanced to the final stage. In the final phase, 6 contenders submitted their price offers.

This process is being carried out with the participation of internationally recognized advisory organizations such as Rothschild & Co, KPMG, and Deloitte. All privatization activities have been approved by the State Privatization Commission.
