A proposal was made to give new names to the streets in Yangihayot

Proposals to rename certain streets and neighborhoods in the Yangihayot district of Tashkent city have been presented for public discussion. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The district administration's press service announced this. According to this initiative, not only will the names of existing streets be reviewed, but official names will also be assigned to streets that have not yet been named.

The commission responsible for geographical objects in the city has started collecting opinions from the capital's residents. This process is organized based on the requirements of the "On Geographical Object Names" law, and decisions are made taking into account the views of the local population.

During the discussion process, citizens can express their opinions through the special portal geonom.tashkent.uz. Additionally, they have the opportunity to share their position by calling the phone number (71) 210-04-13 or by sending a written appeal to the administration until January 19.

This initiative was proposed by the Yangihayot district administration and is being carried out in close cooperation with the population.
