President discusses security and defense issues

Today, on January 13, an expanded meeting of the Security Council under the President, chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, is scheduled to be held. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

At this meeting, issues related to the country's security and defense sector are expected to be discussed. Additionally, the agenda includes matters concerning the development of the national army, management and coordination of the troops' activities, as well as the analysis of the fulfillment of assigned tasks.

The head of state is also planned to closely familiarize himself today with the activities of certain facilities within the Ministry of Defense system. During this visit, information about the local conditions, infrastructure status, ongoing work, and future plans may be presented.

It is worth noting that such meetings dedicated to security and defense issues are usually held on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day. These events are aimed at ensuring the country's security and strengthening the peace of mind of citizens.
