New benefits will be provided to young people who have completed military service

A number of new opportunities are being introduced for young people who have completed their compulsory military service in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
If such young people wish to study at higher education institutions, the state will cover the costs of obtaining certificates in foreign languages and other subjects. Additionally, if they enroll on a contract basis, they will have the opportunity to receive interest-free educational loans.
This was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a meeting of the Security Council. According to the president, soldiers serving compulsory military service will be given the opportunity to take entrance exams for higher education institutions directly at the military unit.
If they pass the tests successfully, they will be admitted as students and will begin their studies after completing their service. Furthermore, young people returning from the army who wish to work in government organizations will receive a 10% preference on test scores conducted by the Agency for Management Efficiency.
For those planning to work in the private sector, the state will cover the costs of vocational training or obtaining certificates. President Mirziyoyev emphasized that completing compulsory military service should become a pathway to future success for young people.
