In January, the cold intensifies, snow and rain fall

“O‘zgidromet” service has provided weather information for January 19–23. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this forecast, on January 19, light snowfall is expected only in Navoi region and in the morning in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region. On January 20, rain or snow may occur in the southwestern parts of the country in the evening.
From January 21 to 23, precipitation (rain and snow) will be observed intermittently in many parts of the country. During the first half of the week, nighttime temperatures are expected to range from 3 degrees below zero to 2 degrees above zero, and daytime temperatures from 3 to 8 degrees above zero.
Starting from the second half of the week, temperatures will gradually decrease. Nighttime temperatures may drop to between 2 and 7 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures may range from 2 degrees below zero to 3 degrees above zero.
In Karakalpakstan, nighttime temperatures throughout the week will be around 8 to 13 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures around 0 to 5 degrees below zero. By January 23, daytime temperatures may warm up to 3 degrees above zero.
There is a possibility of fog in some areas. On January 21–22, wind speeds in some places are expected to increase up to 13–18 meters per second.
In mountainous areas, occasional snowfall and the risk of avalanches may occur. In Tashkent city, no precipitation is expected from January 19 to 21.
Nighttime temperatures will range from 2 degrees below zero to 1 degree above zero, and daytime temperatures from 3 to 9 degrees above zero. On January 22–23, there is a chance of intermittent rain or snow.
On January 22, daytime temperatures are expected to be 0 to 2 degrees above zero, and on January 23, nighttime temperatures will be between 3 and 6 degrees below zero, with daytime temperatures around zero. There is a possibility of fog at night and in the morning.
