President familiarized himself with the activities of the "Sinomed" medical center

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Almazar district and acquainted himself with the activities of the newly opened "Sinomed" multidisciplinary medical center. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This visit was assessed as one of the practical steps by the head of state to continue the policy of supporting the private sector in healthcare. This was reported by Podrobno.uz.
According to the President's press service, currently about 30 percent of medical services in the country are provided by private clinics. The government plans to expand conditions for the development of private medical institutions.
The total value of the "Sinomed" center amounts to 30 million dollars. Modern medical equipment for the clinic was brought from the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, and Germany.
The center has the capacity to receive up to 4,500 patients annually. Services are provided in areas such as surgery, pediatrics, traumatology, orthopedics, and endocrinology.
Also, great attention has been paid to personnel potential at the clinic. More than 300 new jobs have been created, and the team of doctors consists of over 80 specialists.
Most of them have gained experience at leading clinics in Germany, South Korea, the USA, India, and Turkey. Foreign specialists are also working at the center.
For the first time in Tashkent, a private maternity complex was established within this center. It has the capacity to accommodate 30 women simultaneously.
The President familiarized himself with services from pregnancy through the postpartum period and emphasized that such a system creates convenience for women and serves to develop a healthy motherhood culture. The center also houses the largest private vaccination point in the republic and the only non-governmental sterilization center.
To create convenience for the population, call centers and mobile patronage groups designed to provide services at home have been organized. The clinic's management plans to expand the number of places and strengthen preventive programs for children in the future.
In his speech, the President emphasized that the return of qualified doctors to the country and the implementation of advanced experiences in practice are important results of the reforms. It was also noted that the increase in private medical centers will strengthen healthy competition and increase the population's access to quality services.
