The Uzbekistan Army Became a Leader in Central Asia

In the new ranking announced by the Global Firepower Index, the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan ranked 53rd among 145 countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This ranking is compiled by evaluating world armies based on more than 60 indicators. These indicators include defense expenditures, technical equipment, personnel numbers, tanks, aircraft, ships, logistics, resources, geographic factors, and other important aspects.
Among Central Asian countries, the Uzbek army took first place, leading the region. Among neighboring countries, Kazakhstan ranked 58th, Turkmenistan 78th, Tajikistan 100th, Kyrgyzstan 109th, and Afghanistan 121st.
Among the former USSR countries, Uzbekistan also achieved a high result. According to this indicator, our country was ranked third after Russia (2nd place) and Ukraine (20th place).
The top ten strongest countries worldwide in the ranking are as follows: the United States in first place, Russia second, China third, followed by India, South Korea, France, Japan, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and Italy. These results demonstrate Uzbekistan's strong position in the region.
However, the ranking positions are not sufficient. In the future, the real readiness of the army, technological capabilities, and continuous improvement of personnel qualifications should be a priority.
