President visited the activities of the Sinomed Medical Center
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the "Sinomed" multidisciplinary medical center located in the Olmazor district of Tashkent city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The activities of this center, the conditions created for patients, as well as the qualifications of doctors and pharmacists were reviewed. This visit was reported by uzdaily.uz.

During the visit, the role of the private sector in the healthcare system was especially acknowledged. It was noted that nearly 30 percent of medical services in the country are provided by private clinics.

It was emphasized that additional conditions are being created by the state to develop private healthcare. Modern centers like "Sinomed" serve to expand quality medical services.

The center provides services in areas such as obstetrics, pediatrics, surgery, traumatology, orthopedics, and endocrinology. The total value of the project amounts to 30 million US dollars.

The center is equipped with the most modern medical equipment imported from the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, and Japan. "Sinomed" includes both outpatient and inpatient departments.

The center has the capacity to receive up to 4,500 patients annually. More than 300 new jobs have been created here, over 80 of which are held by qualified doctors.

More than 60 doctors have received advanced training abroad, including in South Korea, Germany, Turkey, India, Japan, and the United States. Foreign specialists also work at the clinic.

Special attention is given to maternal and child health issues at the center. The first private maternity complex in Tashkent was launched at this center, with the capacity to serve 30 women simultaneously.

There are plans to increase the number of places in the future. Additionally, vaccination and preventive examinations for children have been established.

The clinic has also introduced the practice of home visits for patients. It was noted that the center has the largest private vaccination center and the only sterilization center in the republic.

The president closely familiarized himself with the clinic’s outpatient rooms, the conditions created for patients, and the system for monitoring women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. He emphasized the importance of prenatal care and timely medical assistance, especially noting that the process should not become a source of stress for the mother during the birth of the first child.

In dialogue with the clinic team, the president highlighted the importance of competition in private healthcare. It was noted that the increase in private medical centers provides the population with a wider choice, improves service quality, and leads to the adjustment of treatment costs.

Additionally, the head of state spoke with children playing in the area within the center and noted the importance of private clinics in implementing modern standards, training qualified personnel, and providing high-quality medical services.
